Spring Cleanse: Mind & Body Reset

Join me for a simple, rejuvenating 7-day Ayurvedic cleanse to support you for a joyful, healthful spring season.

Ayurveda views seasonal transitions to be important opportunities for cleansing and rejuvenation. Spring is a great time to clear the excess heavy and cold qualities that have accumulated throughout the winter. Left unchecked this can lead to digestive issues, sluggish energy and lethargy, brain fog, weight gain, sinus congestion, colds or allergies, skin issues, sleep disturbances, and other doshic imbalances.

During the spring cleanse process, we will take an Ayurvedic food-based approach to cleansing and rejuvenation. This integrated, effective approach will leave you feeling cleaner, clearer and renewed.

  • MEETINGS: We will meet 2 Sundays (before and after) the cleanse along with daily Zoom meditations, and  2 online check-ins. (1) Sunday, March 30, 10:00am-12:30pm. Receive materials & supplies, and instructions for the cleanse. (2) Sunday, April 6, 10:00-12:30pm Recap and Review, shared experiences. Discuss gently ending the cleanse and the next Rejuvenation Phase to continue to nourish the body & mind.

  • SUPPLIES: Each participant receives kitchari supplies, a Cleanse Guide with yoga, recipes, and lifestyle practices to best align with the doshic influences of the season.

  • HOME PRACTICE: The guide offers home practices to help create optimal functioning of the digestion, elimination and immune systems. This is a program to clear winter’s accumulation, and gently reset the system for the season ahead.

  • CHECK-INS: We will have 2 Online Check-ins during the cleanse week, and optional daily Zoom meditation, and writing prompts.

Location: Southern Star Yoga Center, 723 N. Lamar Blvd. (follow the link below to register through their website).
